News of the Week:
So this weekend Tony and i went to see CELTIC THUNDER!!!!!! It was so awsome. i love them! they did all the songs on the DVD, and also Danny Boy. We were there sooo early. my mom told us to leave at 2 in case there was traffic, so we did... no traffic. AND it only took us like a minute to park, so we were there and out of the car by 3:30... the show started at 9. we wandered around a bit, and we ate... we wandered about some more... FINALLY it was 7:30, so we thought lets go see if anything is going on, so we wandered over to the theater, where a rather substantial que had formed. we got in it, and at 8ish they let us in. we found our seats (which incidentaly were 3 rows from the top... kinda reminded me of one broadway show...) the show was awsome... my camera bateries ran out, so i was not able to get alot of pictures, but once i get them on disc i will post them. Oh, and the woman sitting next to me ONLY clapped for Danny Boy... I know!!! Isn't that messed up?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? she didn't even clap for Ireland's Call, and all the crazy Irish old ladies clapped for that! Stupid Skank. And she was like my mom's age... it is not like she was 100 years old! ugh. i got one of those fancy programs too... So yeah that was Celtic Thunder. The rest of the week was boring, since i have been sick... on friday i took a Philosophy test... he says it will be 2 or 3 weeks before he hands them back... he is incredibly weird... but yeah... thats it for this past week... hopefully the next will be more exciting...

German of the Week (Danny's Favorite part!! lol):
So i think i am going to do this a little differently. i will put the way the word/phrase is suposed to be spelled, and then the way it sounds. that way you will know when i start to type the way it is suposed to be by accident... Also if there is an umlaude (the two little dots above "o"s or "u"s i will put a % after the word (if it has both an o and a u i will put the lette also for example: (% u) if it is the u.
Also Shout out to Germanpod101.com which is great at teaching me this stuff! Go there! you can listen to it for free, and the one month subcription is only $8 so what have you got to loose? (but keep comming here! lol)
so i said i would teach you some food names this time right? it is a very long list this week, but you can practice them when you get your lunch, or your Borders frosty mellony drinky thingy. lol.

OK, so I like the idea of doing one for each day and then doing honorable mentions for the month.
Suggestions for your German:
You should put the accented syllables in bold when you put the bastardized phonetic spellings so we know where to stress the word. I mean, is it boo-tah, or boo-tah?
To do that you would put before the text you want to be bold and after- BOLD TEXT. And then, take out the spaces between the > and the b.
Also, just so you know, I believe you can use special characters in blogger. It would be less confusing, and you only need to remember four 'codes'. So, let's see if this works...
Ö ; is Ö
ö ; is ö
Ü ; is Ü
ü ; is ü
Just take the space out between the ; and the rest of the code and it SHOULD work... let's see if it does...
And, yes, you have to do it. because if I am learning German with you, by god you will learn some coding with me! We'll trade languages here, you teach me German, I teach you HTML.
Now, write all of that down. Four codes and one complete tag. You should be able to remember that. THERE WILL BE A QUIZ!!! o_0
ok, crap, that bold explination should look like this:
put < b > before the text you want to be bold and < / b > after - < b > BOLD TEXT < / b >. Then, take out all the spaces.
Now, let's see if that works...
Also, you should tell me how to say "orange", "mango", "cream", and "ice" so that I can order my drink in German. ^_^
