so here is a little bit of me... being... well... i dunno kinda eh... i guess is the best way to put it...
so i am feeling eh... kinda like questioning who i am... what am i doing... and why. it is probably the weather and the hour... it is 12:02 by my clock... i just cant seem to concentrate on the here and now... like the day-dreams i have before bed are more real to me than my life... and my temper had been more on edge lately... like i get mad at the littlest things... and i know that is most deffinately the weather... the rain is never ending... i have no motivaation to do anything other than sit and watch tv and eat...
i am just sick of me... of who i am... i feel like there is something missing... like a lost opertunity... if there are infinate possibilities and therefore infinate universes, who am i in them... in this one? i feel like i am not me... like i am floating around watching this person with my body doing things as i watch on... like i am just going through the motions, and nothing changes or impresses me... the world is grey and so am i...
i find myself drifting off more than usual... not to day dream, just to stare off... like there are elipsesees in my daily life... sigh well i must go... let me know your thoughts....

I LOVE updating late!!!
Hello, and welcome to "Stop the World"!! We will be dropping the "this Week in History" section untill may (mostly because that was the ONLY feedback i got... ahem... but since only Heather reads this now ans allison spraticly, it doen't really matter lol) Still accepting sujestions for the new section to start in may. I got some good ones last time, and am hopping for some more! I know i haven't updated this in FOREVER, but i have been swamped at school, but now i have a few minutes... I had planned on updating the week after valentines day, so the theme reflects that... since i dont have time to make a new theme... so just go with it... lol
Theme of the Week: Love
News of the Week:
Ok, so News... Well our theme this week is love, unfortunately it is NOT affecting me in any way, but since V-Day just passed, i figured it would be a good topic, and an easy one as well. So i am as you all know, in school and i am a little overwhelmed with all the reading and papers, but i guess it is time i faced the music, so to speak... mostly school consumes my life, and the weeks seem so short and it is only a matter of time before it is friday and i have to go to work, which i HATE with a firey passion of a thousand burning suns, (except Sundays now that Alex is back lol) and they are not giving out any more hours, which leaves me screwed, since i am relying on this money for the road trip. i am hopping Tony is saving like a maniac, so that he will have extra... but now he might not want to go... i think it is cos it is so far away and he can't envission it yet... as of press time there is 475 days til we leave... works out to be about 15 1/2 months... I think Alex's mom is helping her pay for her part, but i am hopping my tips will provide enough help. (either way i will have enough to go to MO at least lol) I will prob have to get a second job in the summer however, if they keep this up. just FYE (for your eddification) as i am sure Allison is DYING to know, there aren't many cute guys in my classes... there is really only one (alex is his name) and I kinda talk to him, but i talk to his friend more... (not as cute but seems like a, as tony would say, hoot) and there is a guy who is ok looking in the same class who is a Liverpool fan, but i haven't really talked to him except a minute about Liverpool and how he likes my Liverpool shirt... but he wasn't there last class, though... i can't really remember what he looks like, since we talked when he was in his car, in the garage, at night, so it was dim... he may be a real dog for all i know! lol anyway i will keep you updated, but i am not really expecting to hook up with anyone right now... i am just to busy for a relationship... tho it would be nice to bring someone to Thanksgiving one year... but i don't want to scare someone by having them come there! lol so lets get on with it!!!
Song of the Week:
this week's song is "Aurelie" (OOR-ah-LEE) by German band Wir Sind Helden (we are heroes). This song is about a French girl (named Aurelie) who comes to Germany and is upset because it seems like the boys in Germany don't like her as much as the french ones do because they are so introverted, and the French ones always whistle at her, and the German ones dont. The chorus translates to "Aurelie, it never works out that way. You are expecting way to much, the Germans flirt very subtly." (it is repeated twice). I just love this song! here is the video, which i also love lol. (if you want the full translation, let me know and i will post it, but not if you dont want it.)

Finally! An Update
hey all! I know i haven't written in forever, but i know you don't really mind... um so this is gonna be a short episode, since i need to get back into the groove... so just news and song this week, as i don't really have time to look up a picture, or think of a theme, since i got SO much feedback... (sarcasm is fun isn't it?)
News
So I started school, which is why i have been late... I am taking 5 classes this semester, and they are all history classes, which of course means a TON of reading if you count one book that is online, i have to read 21 books this semester! so my posts shall be shorter, unless i catch up for the week. so i have to cut a section... i am not sure what one... maybe we will try the feedback agian to vote on which section should be cut til the end of may... so should i cut "this week in history", "German" or "Quote" and "picture" (they will go together)so please let me know... (should i not get any feedback i will cut one a week, but i would rather not keep track of which one to cut, so PLEASE leave feedback!!!!!!!) also in May, we will start a new section and agian you will get to vote on which one you want to read... (mostly we are adding the new section to replace news, since durring the summer, i have nothing going on since i will be working more and still having no life lol) I will give you a choice of like 3 or 4 sections... here are the ones i am bouncing about: Place (where i will give you a bit of info about the place and pics) Tv/Movie (where i will post links to some of my fave movies and/or tv shows and clips of them) Person (mini bio of people and pics) and Item (where i will choose an obsure or nifty item and have pics and info about it). of course YOU, the readers, will contribute to this by sending in your suggestions. but i havent chosen a subject, tho if you particularly like one of the ones i mentioned, let me know!
Song of the week
"Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" by Eddie Izzard
now i know the Beatles were the first ones to do this song but the version i have is Eddie Izzard, and i less than 3 him so... to apease you Beatles fans, i am putting the version i found on here too, ok so don't yell at me!!!!!
Eddie Izzard Version:

Happy New Year!!
Hello, and welcome to "Stop the World"!! Happy New Year! I hope you all have a great new year, and that i get to visit with all of you at some point! (Allison... lol) To all my Missouri friends, it is officially 534 days till I see you!! works out to be about what? 18 months? so have a good year so that we can come bother you then!!! lol.
Theme of the Week: New Years
News of the Week:
Once agian, not much has happened this week... other than Christmas!!! Lets see... Tony totally fooled me this year. I knew he got me Torchwood, but i didn't know if he got me one or two seasons... so i opened the 1st season, and was happy, and there was another box that was bigger and kinda heavy to heavy and big to be a DVD, and it was from "C.E" i thought maybe he put the 2nd season in there, and weighed it down with like rocks or something, and i was trying to figure out who C.E was... so i poened it and it was bananas... thats right... bananas... apperently it was a referance to the Doctor Who ep where the doctor (#9) says "Bananas are far more interesting"... 0_o... i know... how was i suposed to get that? i know Laura might've... maybe but then later he gave me another package... Torchwood Season 2! YAY!!! (i did eat the Bananas tho... thay are intersting... lol) As i am sure i've told you i got tony a Manchester united jersey, and hoodie, and my mom a scrapbook. my aunt got me lots of crafty things! i can't wait to do some crafts! tho i have things to do before then in my apt. it is part of my new years resolution. It is to act more grown up and responcible. this includes learning about financial things (more about that later) Turning my apt from Attic to real grown up Apt, making more friends closser to my age, getting b's or highter in schoolkeeping every thing clean, etc... not limmited to these things tho. I am hoping getting healthy, and losing weight is gonna happen, but i have to focus on one thing before i start another, tho i WILL be cutting back on Burger King. I will be getting bagles more than BK... that is less calories right? it must be... i mean how may callories are 2 or 3 cheeseburgers? I dont know... maybe i will look it up at some point... Anyway... I have been obsessed with Suze Orman lately. I bought her book "Young, Fabulous, and Broke" and it is extreemely interesting and easy to read and helpful, so i am pimping it here... go buy it! it is only like 18 bucks or something and it will save you tons! so you know... buy it.
Song of the Week:
this week's song is actually a song and Vid in one! it is "Piddle, Twiddle, and Resolve" from the Musical "1776". Here is the Video... this is John Adams singing in agravation about how noone in congress listens to his pleas for independance. Adams is played by William Daniels (who played George Feeney on "Boy meets World")
