Hello, and welcome to "Stop the World"!! Happy New Year! I hope you all have a great new year, and that i get to visit with all of you at some point! (Allison... lol) To all my Missouri friends, it is officially 534 days till I see you!! works out to be about what? 18 months? so have a good year so that we can come bother you then!!! lol.

Theme of the Week: New Years

News of the Week:

Once agian, not much has happened this week... other than Christmas!!! Lets see... Tony totally fooled me this year. I knew he got me Torchwood, but i didn't know if he got me one or two seasons... so i opened the 1st season, and was happy, and there was another box that was bigger and kinda heavy to heavy and big to be a DVD, and it was from "C.E" i thought maybe he put the 2nd season in there, and weighed it down with like rocks or something, and i was trying to figure out who C.E was... so i poened it and it was bananas... thats right... bananas... apperently it was a referance to the Doctor Who ep where the doctor (#9) says "Bananas are far more interesting"... 0_o... i know... how was i suposed to get that? i know Laura might've... maybe but then later he gave me another package... Torchwood Season 2! YAY!!! (i did eat the Bananas tho... thay are intersting... lol) As i am sure i've told you i got tony a Manchester united jersey, and hoodie, and my mom a scrapbook. my aunt got me lots of crafty things! i can't wait to do some crafts! tho i have things to do before then in my apt. it is part of my new years resolution. It is to act more grown up and responcible. this includes learning about financial things (more about that later) Turning my apt from Attic to real grown up Apt, making more friends closser to my age, getting b's or highter in schoolkeeping every thing clean, etc... not limmited to these things tho. I am hoping getting healthy, and losing weight is gonna happen, but i have to focus on one thing before i start another, tho i WILL be cutting back on Burger King. I will be getting bagles more than BK... that is less calories right? it must be... i mean how may callories are 2 or 3 cheeseburgers? I dont know... maybe i will look it up at some point... Anyway... I have been obsessed with Suze Orman lately. I bought her book "Young, Fabulous, and Broke" and it is extreemely interesting and easy to read and helpful, so i am pimping it here... go buy it! it is only like 18 bucks or something and it will save you tons! so you know... buy it.

Song of the Week:

this week's song is actually a song and Vid in one! it is "Piddle, Twiddle, and Resolve" from the Musical "1776". Here is the Video... this is John Adams singing in agravation about how noone in congress listens to his pleas for independance. Adams is played by William Daniels (who played George Feeney on "Boy meets World")

Also i will post some fun Facts about the monts as well! Also i will be putting pictures of people or events, should i be able to find them! and should they be relevent. so two epidodes per month... this one is January! Yay!! I got mentioned in this post! And I totally agree that we need to hang out ASAP... maybe sometime next week?? I go back to school Jan. 20, so we should definitely catch up before then. Let me know when you're free, and we'll make some plans! :-)
P.S. I'm loving that you referenced "1776" in this post-- that's such an awesome movie/musical whose amazingness needs to be shared!!
